If there is no supreme authority,
everything is a random occurrence.
Then, what does it mean to have an objective,
when randomness is the ultimate influence?

But, if there is indeed a supreme authority,
how we live is designed before we live.
Then, what does it mean to have an objective,
when pleas or determination won’t change a thing?

So, what we do matters not.
Those who live by objectives
are a foolish lot.
Those made to hang heads in shame
because they lack direction
in fact, know the aimlessness of aim.

Unless, unless this world
is all interdependent
Reaction to one random event
defines the subsequent or
Reaction to one design
designs what’s to come next

So, if the cause is effective
The fatalist might soon want an objective.

Or then again, he just might not.
